Le gîte " Au Nid Douillet " situé en cœur de ville de Doullens, vous laisse le plaisir de vous rendre à pied à la salle des ventes, à l'office de tourisme, à la piscine, dans les restaurants ou commerces à proximité ( bouchers/charcutiers/traiteurs, boulangers, spécialiste de la gastronomie artisanale locale, Monoprix, divers magasins de vêtements, de bijoux,de cadeaux…) ; sur le marché des 2 places le jeudi matin, ou, au supermarché en ville sans obligation de prendre la voiture ! Des visites à Doullens vous permettront de découvrir le patrimoine : la citadelle, le beffroi, le musée Lombart, la salle du Commandement Unique ou l'architecture de certaines constructions anciennes en ville. Des circuits de randonnées pédestres, des sites pour pêcher… vous permettront d'apprécier le milieu local sur place, avant de découvrir les nombreuses possibilités de distractions aux alentours : Lucheux, Naours, Samara, Amiens, Albert, Péronne, Arras, Quend ou Fort Mahon en Baie de Somme, Montreuil, Le Touquet, Lille...
