Eglise Saint-Martin - Boismont

The church of Saint Martin at Boismont is, without doubt, one of the finest examples of religious architecture in the Baie de Somme. The great door is surrounded by two arcades and topped by a 'campenard' bell tower (belfry wall). Flint walls are another local feature. Inside there are superb 16th century carved vaults, listed as historical monuments in 1927! Although partially destroyed in 1940, during the German attack on the Somme during World War II, the bell tower and church are beautifully maintained.
