Forêt Domaniale de Crécy

With its 4,322 hectares, Crecy Forest Estate is the county's largest growing stock. Beech and oak are the forest's main species. A map of Crécy Forest (on sale in local Tourist Offices and bookshops) with its 23 remarkable trees, 8 waymarked walks (including the 'Muscardin' circuit: leaflet available from the Crécy tourist office), 47km of bridlepaths and other facilities. Permanent orienteering course "Clairière du Muguet" (45 fixed markers): entry permit and map available by advance booking at the Forest Centre. Play/sports trail (18 points) around the picnic area. Don't forget to take all your rubbish with you! Maps of the state owned forest of Crécy (available from Crécy-en-Ponthieu Tourist Information office) will help you find your way around.
