Jardins de Valloires

The incomparable Jardins de Valloires lie beneath a majestic Cistercian abbey at the heart of the Authie Valley.

Laid out by Gilles Clément, an internationally reputed landscape gardener, they feature over 5,000 varieties of mainly Asian plants and shrubs.

Unlike any other in France, this collection is highly prized for its ornamental qualities. Its decidedly contemporary educational slant combined with a remarkable standard of upkeep makes this very historical site one of France’s finest gardens.
