Around the 18th-century brick and stone chateau are 10 hectares of English-style gardens, a park and a vegetable garden all embellished with pools, fountains and gazebos.
Catherine Guévenoux redrawn the abandoned park in 1989. She planted around the old trees, hardy plants, old rose bushes and hydrangeas bordered with box.
She created a succession of themed gardens full of surprises :
• le jardin du puits : flowers and arbusts in blue and silver colors
• le jardin du cloître : different whites thanks to the graminées, arums and whites peony
• l’ancienne mare : hostas, iris, gunneras and crambes
• le verger de Lucie : apple trees
• in direction of the church of the village, she recreated a un jardin de curé with : garlic, digitales, véroniques, rudbeckias, ancolies and sedums
