Discover the Bay of Somme on a vintage train dating from the early 20th Century.

Authentic wagons from the Belle Epoque drawn by valiant steam engines run between Le Crotoy, Noyelles-sur-Mer, Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and Cayeux-sur-Mer.
Hear the engine whistle and you're off for a ride 80 years into the past!

Dinner on board

You can have a dinner in a vintage train.
You'll travel from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme to Noyelles sur Mer. You will have the apéritif. On the way back, a stop permits to admire the beauty of the sunset on the bay and you'll taste a typical picardy dish.

At the end of the meal, about 11.30 pm, the train will join Saint-Valery-sur-Somme.

"Cayeux à toute vapeur"

It's the return of the steam engines in Cayeux.

It's the occasion to remember the past travels and to admire the cliffs of Ault-Onival, to discover the charms of a seaside resort as Cayeux, its wooden path and its 400 beach houses.

Trains to the sea

Saturdays, sundays and bank holidays from 5th July till 30th August, leave you car and come to the Bay of Somme by train !

From rails to waves

The Somme Bay Railway and "Commandant Charcot" joined together to let you discover the Bay of Somme with the device of two different ways of transport.

Les journées du patrimoine (European Heritage Days)

The Somme Bay Railway was created to preserve and give another life to the Bathes' network. The traditional European Heritage Days are an occasion to set off all the work made since the association has been created. It's the occasion to see a typical train for goods and travellers. This train will circulate between Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and Cayeux-sur-Mer.

The European Heritage Days will take place Sunday, September 20th, don't miss this event !

Santa Claus' Trains

To please the children but also the adults, Santa Claus finds a new way of transport. In the Bay of Somme, no need of reindeers or sledge but a beautiful vintage train.

In december,take the Santa Claus' Trains from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme or Le Crotoy to Noyelles-sur-Mer.

Meeting place : in Saint Valery sur Somme December 5th and 6th and in Le Crotoy December 19th and 20th.

Steam Festival

It's a great event for railways lovers and inhabitants of the Bay of Somme. It's the occasion to see vintage trains.

Days of circulation :
- everyday from April 28th to September 20th ;
- everyday except monday and friday from April 4th to April 26th, from September 22th to September 27th and from October 24th to November 1st;
- the week-ends from October 3rd to October 18th ;

Rates : depend the distance : adult from 8,30 € to 15,30 € - child (4-18) from 6 € to 11,30 € (free for child under 4).
