The "P'tit train de la Haute Somme" is the last remaining section of a large military network built during World War 1. The site is situated right in the zone of the Battle of the Somme.

Froissy, on the river Somme, has a narrow gauge railway, Le "P’tit Train de la Haute-Somme" (Upper Somme Light Railway), running on the line used to carry supplies to the front line in the Battle of the Somme in 1916. Its Museum of Military and Industrial Railways shows many of the vehicles used during the battle, and the history of narrow gauge railway. |
