During 2 days, on August 28th and 29th, discover the Medieval life in Folleville and its rich inheritance !

Each year, during 2 days, Folleville, a small village located at 18,6 miles in the south of Amiens, organizes a Festival on the castle's site. Remains of a medieval castle and church registered on the World Heritage List due to the Compostelle paths.

Around the ruins of the castle, adults and older child will discover the life during the medieval times thanks to the several hundred of volunteers dressed up as medieval unhabitants. Several events will take place : markets, medieval troups,

This medieval event is the occasion for visitors to discover a rich inheritance...

The church

It's a pure example of Gothic style. The church shelters the remarkable graves of the Lords of Folleville made out of Carrara marble, proving the influence of Italian Renaissance in Picardy.

The castle

The castle was built in the 15th century by the lords of Folleville. Today, it only remains a tower of watch.
