The Butterworth memorial will be inaugurated on July 25th. His memory will this way stay alive at all times. Besides he would be delighted to know that Pozières inhabitants created their own "Morris Dance" group in his honour.

The organizers especially Yves POTARD would wish that the Durham Light Infantry shall be present during the inauguration and that a large number of people shall come to enjoy the Light and Sound show. They would also like to create an association that would include Fusiliers, the English songs and folklorique dance association and all groups or people related to the memory of George Butterworth as well.
