The Grand Prix de Belle Dune, rightly called the “International Amateur”, has proven that the label is justly deserved. Indeed, in 2004 the event regained its official and national status.
The Belle Dune golf course, is one of the 10 most beautiful French golf course.
For the second year, the "International Amateur" (French Golf Federation, category 9) will be played over 72 holes without a cut, thus allowing competitors 4 full rounds of golf.
Very few official French amateur tournaments offer this very competitive format, which requires considerable endurance and the mental strength of a champion. Here is an almost unique occasion to learn to control one’s stress and combattive spirit on a course renowned for its beauty with fairways and greens worthy of top class golfers.
