Every evening from 26 june to 04 july at 7.30pm, come and sit around the fountain at the Place d'Armes and listen to 'ritual recital of bagpipes from the balcony of the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Brebières in Albert...
The recital lasts twenty minutes, giving you the chance to share a moment of musical meditation under the open skies and in your own way, commemorate the 94rd anniversary of the Battle of the Somme. The programme was devised by rural authorities in the Pays des Coquelicots (Land of Poppies) and its bagpipes school.
