The medieval city is a medieval-looking town steeped in history with its ramparts, towers, gates, fortified castle, two-nave church and beautiful checkerboard walls where carved flint and blocks of sandstone or limestone are intermingled. The squares and narrow cobbled streets invite us to take a bucolic stroll through the flowered streets and the half-timbered and corbelled houses dating from the 15th and 16th centuries for the oldest, to finally reach a magnificent small botanical garden called "Herbarium" nestled in the hollow of the ramparts.

Be sure to stop at the Herbarium, a little garden below the ramparts, full of colour and fragrance. Afterwards you can cycle along the quays, past the marina and follow the channel as far as the beach to admire the sunset, feet in the sand, on the terrace of the "Buvette de la plage" (beachside café).
