Church dating from 12th century. In 1475 it was burnt to the ground, by order of King Louis XI, to prevent the town falling into the hands of the English. The church you see today was consecrated on 23rd November 1500. It is an elegant building, its flint and stone walls presenting a checkerboard effect. There are two identical naves, a massive tower with buttresses and roof with spire, replaced in 1786 with a pyramid shaped roof. During the French Revolution it suffered some damage, especially to its furnishings: pictures and reliquary burned, bells melted down.... In 1845 a rectangular brick building was added to afford access to the bell tower.
