Étangs de Cléry-sur-Somme

This vast stretch of water is located at the centre of the Upper Somme lakes. The lakes at Cléry-sur-Somme have banks of trembling peat or are lined with lovely lakeside woodland. It is especially noted for the spectacular arrival of migratory birds in winter and as a breeding ground for endemic species (particularly the common tern).
