Etangs de la Barette et la Falaise Sainte Colette

Site covering nearly 40 hectares on land belonging to the villages of Corbie and Vaux-sur-Somme, open to the public since June 2018. Two waymarked trails with information panels. One trail (2,500m there and back) for those who like a good walk with changes of level (hiking boots recommended): depart from the 'belvédère Sainte-Colette' (on D1 road), follow signs from reception point, cross the Falaise Sainte-Colette 'larris' (limestone upland), cross over road (zebra crossing) and walk along it for about 50 metres, go into the La Barette lakes site via the gate. Cross the wooded area then walk beside the lakes as far as the Fontaine Bleue sector, (stabilized sand). Return the same way to your departure point. Another trail (550m) for those who want to walk along footpaths: depart from car park between Corbie and Vaux-sur-Somme (D233 road), follow signs from reception point. This stabilized sand trail is open to everyone. It has the "Tourisme et handicap" label as it is suitable for people with all types of handicap (mental, motor, hearing and visual). Information panels will help you find out more about the Fontaine Bleue lakes and wetlands. All these panels have QR codes so that the text can be listened to. Within this fragile natural setting an area is dedicated to water fowl hunting and fishing.
