La Chapelle

For all lovers of the quiet and idle life, at the Chapelle campsite in Ault, discover the highest cliffs in Europe, the seaside resort, enjoy the sea air, go shellfish collecting and of course do a spot of swimming, and as you walk to Le Crotoy, admire the Hable d'Ault, a nature reserve and real haven of peace for birds. Baie de Somme is a great place to observe flora and fauna, like the seal colony. Many tourist sites to visit: the Bird Centre, Picarvie ecomuseum in St Valery, the Somme Bay railway (an old-style trip between Le Crotoy, Noyelles-sur-Mer, St Valery and Cayeux), Le Marquenterre Ornithological Park where there are thousands of migratory birds.
