Camp César d?Erondelle is a departmental sensitive natural area located in one of Europe?s most spectacular ancient Gallic fortified villages (known as oppidums).

Listed as a historic monument, this natural site is home to emblematic species such as the Yellow Bunting, which usually settles in the treetops to serenade in the spring.

A staircase takes you to the top of the rampart, where you can look out over the valley. Take time to contemplate the landscape from the viewpoints set up by the Conseil départemental de la Somme.

As you make your way down the opposite slope, you'll come across Jacob's sheep, who contribute to the ecological management of the site. Don't feed them any more, they have enough to do with the vegetation on the site.
