L'Escargotière du Marquenterre

A truly unusual visit during which children can find out about the French national dish (snails), their anatomy, predators, life in snail beds .... and the youngest can watch a puppet show with Phil the Snail (if they behave themselves, of course)! For parents there's a shop selling unusual items such as snail saucisson, Cagouillotine (kind of snail tapenade) and 'croquilles' (edible snail shaped shells for filling). Not something you do everyday!
