Saint-Valery-sur-Somme is an enchanting medieval town, a haven of peace and quiet where you can stroll along narrow, cobbled streets winding around the church (with 2 naves!) and leading to a little secret garden. Great historical interest combined with a superb view over the Baie from the ramparts!
A truly unusual visit during which you can find out about the French national dish (snails), their anatomy, predators, life in snail beds .... and youngsters can watch the puppet show featuring Phil the Snail! Don't miss the shop selling snail saucisson and tapenade (yes, not joking).
