Saint-Valery-sur-Somme is an enchanting medieval town, a haven of peace and quiet where you can stroll along narrow, cobbled streets winding around the church (with 2 naves!) and leading to a little secret garden. Great historical interest combined with a superb view over the Baie from the ramparts!
The château of Prouzel is one of the 18th century follies which enhance the Picardy countryside. It is the work of Jacques Rousseau, a Picardy architect and master-builder, who was also responsible for the old theatre at Amiens, of which only the façade remains.
