After the German offensive was launched on the Somme on 21stMarch 1918, a breach was opened on the Allied front lines and Amiens was in danger. Here in Doullens in a room on the first floor of the town hall, French and British representatives met on 26th March 1918 and entrusted the Inter-Allied Single Command to General Foch. Open to visitors all year round, enter into the heart of the story and leave the outside world behind. A real gem, and a well-kept secret!!
