Fort-Mahon-Plage
BETWEEN THE BAIE DE SOMME AND THE BAIE D'AUTHIE
Fort-Mahon-Plage is a dynamic seaside resort. On your next weekend break with your mates you can try sailing in a little catamaran, laugh a lot when you have a go at big stand-up paddling, enjoy thrills and spills while sand yachting. If you love nature and the great outdoors be sure to go as far as the Baie d’Authie. Nature guides can take you on outings to explore the plants and wildlife – a magical experience in summer when the bay is covered with sea lavender in bloom.

Quend-Plage-les-Pins
DUNES AND PINE FORESTS
Here you'll find wooden stakes for mussel farming, so it must be a good spot! There are 14 mussel farmers taking care of this 'crop'. The CPIE (Centre Permanent d'Initiative pour l'Environnement) even organises discovery nature outings called "from mussel bed to plate". This delightful resort also offers tree-topping at the Parc Arbre et Aventure and the chance to pat some of the many donkeys to be found at the Asinerie du Marquenterre.
Paradise for touring cyclists
There's a cycle track between dunes and pine trees and Le Tadorne cycle route is a 24 km round trip alongside the sand dunes.
