Before leaving Amiens be sure to buy some chocolate souvenirs at the lovely shop run by Nicolas and Anne-Sophie in the Boulevard Faidherbe. Nicolas has his own production facility in the Picardy countryside at Plachy-Buyon, offering demonstrations and workshops. The shop in Amiens has retained all the curious charm of 1970s architecture! You can also enjoy macaroons and 'douceurs des hortillons', delicious chocolate sweets filled with honey from the Hortillonnages.
