Le Commandant Charcot

Head for Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and all aboard the Commandant Charcot. At the helm, Captains Forest, father and son. Captain Forest (senior) is a former fisherman, his face weathered by sun and spray. The pier is at the marina and the ticket office is housed in a little round house, red and sandy beige, inspired by traditional seaside resort architecture. From the boat you get an entirely different view of the coast, the landscape, the quays at Saint-Valery, you get to see some lovely villas. It's a restful and reinvigorating excursion.

Saint-Valery-sur-Somme to Cap Hornu round trip: 40 min. outward/return
This trip to the centre of the Baie, between St Valery and Le Crotoy, gives you an overall view of the Baie de Somme.
Prices: 12€ adult / 8€ child (3 to 12 years)

Saint-Valery-sur-Somme to Le Hourdel round trip: 1 hr 15 outward/return, Sunset 1 hr 15 outward/return.
This trip takes you from one end of the Baie de Somme to the other, from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme (harbour at the end of the Somme canal) to Le Hourdel (last port in the Baie de Somme before the open sea).
Prices: 16€ adult / 11€ child (3 to 12 years)
