The home of local theatre companies and a place for the creation and dissemination of the most diverse forms of theatrical performance, the Maison du Théâtre d'Amiens is resolutely oriented towards contemporary theatre, its forms and expressions, and its scenic and dramatic composition. Its cultural and artistic project follows current trends in performing arts. Located in the St Leu district in the historic centre of Amiens, it is open to one and all. Possessing a 125-seat performance hall and a resource centre devoted to contemporary drama, it welcomes artists and their creations and hosts local artistic teams. It proposes a programme for all audiences, writing workshops, meetings and debates.
