Easy to get to and open to the general public, the “Grand Marais de la Queue” is a peat marsh typical of the Somme Valley. It is made up of a mosaic of environments including lakes, grazing meadows, thickets and forests… Looking after this peat bog on a regular basis makes it important source of biodiversity. You can observe a wide range of water birds (Great Crested Grebe, Eurasian Coot, Common Moorhen, Mallard). In the fallow land of the clearing, the plants provide the marsh with a wide range of colours in summer: yellow loosestrifes give way to the purple lythrum Follow the path and discover this mosaic of colours, species and environments.
