Easily accessible and open to the public, the Grand Marais de la Queue is a peat bog, typical of the peaty valley of the Somme. It is composed of a mosaic of environments including ponds, grazed meadows, thickets and woodlands . The regular maintenance of this peat bog makes it an important reservoir of biodiversity. For example, you will be able to observe a multitude of water birds (Ruffed Grebe, Macroule Coot, Water Hen, Mallard Duck). In the wasteland of the clearing, plants colour the marsh in summer: the yellow of the lysimaques is followed by the purple of the salicaria. Take the path and come and discover this mosaic of colours, species and environments.
